Description
A Container Panel Production Line is an industrial system designed to manufacture the large metal panels that form the walls, roof, and floor of shipping containers. These lines transform flat steel coils into finished, corrugated panels ready for container assembly through a continuous, automated process.
The line manufactures the structural components of standard intermodal containers (20ft, 40ft, etc.):
Side panels: Corrugated wall panels with wave-like texture for strength
Roof panels: Formed sheets that provide weather protection
Floor panels: Heavy-gauge sheets with structural reinforcement
The characteristic corrugated surface is not decorative—it significantly enhances structural strength by distributing stress evenly across the panel surface, helping containers withstand stacking, transportation forces, and handling .
A complete container panel production line integrates several key stations:
